Viewing Resources

Here are a few resources and places where you can legally stream some of the shows we are likely to be discussing.

Please note that - due to licensing restrictions - not all of these services are available in all areas.  In fact, if you're not in North America, your options are much more limited.

Netflix - http://www.netflix.com - The world's most popular legal streaming service. They are (according to some experts) responsible for up to 30% of all internet traffic in the US.  They do charge a monthly fee, however.

Hulu - http://www.hulu.com - It's hit-or-miss with older shows, but it also has some oddities (like this one: http://www.hulu.com/team-knight-rider ) Basic Hulu is free, but Hulu Plus has a fee associated with it.

Amazon Instant Video - http://amzn.to/1a7O1nU - Has a ton of shows. If you have Amazon Prime, some of them are even free!  Amazon is expanding aggressively, and is more likely than most to either already be available in your country or to be appearing there soon.

iTunes - http://www.itunes.com - Much like Amazon Instant Video, they have a ton of shows, but very few (if any) of their shows are free.

Google Play Store - https://play.google.com/store/movies - These guys are just getting started, but, since you're already here, it's pretty clear that Google already runs your life, right?

YouTube - http://www.youtube.com - If it's in the Google Play Store, it's probably also on YouTube.
